Not necessarily. I'm just as active physically as I was when I was in my early 20s, I eat as much and I weigh as much. It's more that most people are less active, due to office life.

Metabolism does slow down but then drinking a few less beers a week sorts that out. And, to be fair, I drink a lot less now than I did when I was a student.

My near daily morning "drink" according to an online calorie calc is well over 2000.

We always had our '4heures' after school in the 50s after school. A piece of bread and jam, or bread with chocolate (NOT fatty nutella though)- but often an apple. My brother always had a bowl of Muesli.
Very similar in Zürich, except that it here is named Zviäri But only in case of bad weather, as in good weather we deposited out stuff and went out again. And neither Müesli nor chocolate as Mum decided that it was wrong. Unlike my schoolfriend, we could have some Aproz Cola, while his conservative "Oma" insisted on some milk for him. He therefore often "fled" to us asap..

With bear combination, there is not much left when it's finish snaking on you.

A cousin in Houston, who had grown up partially with his Schaffuuserisch speaking Grandmum from Schaffhausen, when I complained about me sometimes mixing up beer and bear told me that bear-meat was excellent and far healthier than beer He did not speak German but understood a good deal and always had a very very sizeable English-German/German-English dictionary around. His wife actually had some rather theoretical command of Spanish btw.

Put the musli thru a grinder first... maybe reduce the bananas and peanut butter for the first go.
I was going to ask about the peanut butter and whether you meant tablespoons or teaspoons. Isn't 4 tablespoons a bit "claggy"?

Yes tablespoons. It mixes in fine. Its the bananas that make it a bit thick.

Not to native English speakers, it isn't. (And to my Swiss wife).

Come on Wolli, there was at least one other thread yesterday on which I made absolutely no input when someone had to point out the sarcasm to you.

I never did and never will buy milk at Starbucks, as this chap

No no no the latest new buzz word is now " treat" its a treat for myself. No you are not a dog and treat is thought up by chub chubs as an excuse to shovel more cakes into the bottomless pie hole.

Nah... the problem is the half-fat products - "oh great, I can eat twice as much!"

Did three threads get merged there? Starbucks, First World Problems and the Subway thread? The titles are all a mix in each consecutive post.

The March 2007 issue of Consumer Reports of American fast-food chain coffee called McDonald’s Premium Roast coffee to be "cheapest and best", beating Starbucks, coffee. The magazine called Starbucks coffee "strong, but burnt and bitter enough to make your eyes water instead of open".

Interesting yes?
Oh God... that's terrifying.
