500 calories doesn't make you fat.
Sure, that is the same reasoning of my obese friends back at home.

I still don't know what this has got to do with what you wrote: "legal drinking age".

There isn't a legal drinking age. It varies from country to country. In France, for example, you can drink at any age in private.

What I meant was that quite often, peoples' tastes change as they get older. And yes, alcoholic drinks that children find distasteful become more appealing as one gets older.
Since that is clear one only needs to read "into" my post, and not very deeply, and you would get it...or are you just wanting to be argumentative, have the final word sort of thing

AdrainLondon mentioned that one of those drinks would suffice for lunch.

I think the danger comes when you have one and a muffin or something (850 calories total) as a snack between breakfast and lunch - everyday.

I don't think these people appreciate that to burn this amount of calories, they'd probably need to run for 90 minutes.
That' not your 20 minute jog around the block, that's 90 solid minutes.

So, if it is your lunch, then fine but a snack or mid-morning drink? Well, that's not genetics)

I got what you were trying to say without having to think about it at all.
Maybe Tom hasn't had his ( non Starbucks) espresso yet today and hasn't quite woken up yet.

Two hours is a banana. How many calories in a banana?

so:

1 Mocha Cookie Crumble = 500kcals * banana/2 / (70kcals/2) = 14 hours

Is that a tall, grande or venti banana, and what degree of ripeness, just to verify how quickly the sugars are getting into Tom's blood
