Conforama Web Orders!!

Ordered a Hometheater online in Conforama and got the confirmation that this is "Ready For Pickup".
I reached the underground delivery center and collected the receit to wait for the box to arrive.

People came and went by, I waited for more than an hour until someone shouted my name, with expected eyes I reached him, he told me that there is a mistake and my order is not available at their store.

He also told I should receive a SMS and then only should come, the automated emails are not reliable.

First, from where am I supposed to know that the emails are not reliable and secondly there was no reference to any SMS in the confirmation of Order.

I was too angry to speak at that time and just left.

Today thought of complaining, called and first three attempts someone disconnected the call as soon as the automated message stopped.
Then my call was passed to three person before I really got angry and asked them to figure out what happened and call me back at my mobile.

I could not find any email id also where I can raise my issue.


What an amazing Customer Service??
Do we not have any "Central Authority" that accepts Customer Complaints and takes action?

ah you must be new here... no there isnt.

we ordered a tablein store from conforama and it was a disaster from start to finish. I hate to think of the online process

Ok did you sign any forms? If you did, probably a contract of some kind saying they own your arse, you owe them money and your soul, and that this is totally legal.

Apparently it is the norm in Switzerland.

Some people at least get a massage before getting screwed though, but thats at clinics on dein deal apparently, not conforama

No forms signed.
Simply a weborder thats it..
Took the printout and they handed me over a receit to wait for the product to be collected.
The worst part is that why did they have to keep me waiting for more than an hour just to give me the message that there was some mistake. This should be evident while they checked the system and handed me the receit to wait...?

Well I would imagine they were faced with the most difficult of Swiss dilemmas.

To provide an efficient service and be very direct with you but face possible personal confrontation. You have to appreciate how much they were wrestling with this issue in the back office.

BRAIN ACTIVITY LOG:

-customer here
- process order
- order not here
- must tell customer
- WARNING WARNING, malfunction, could lead to confrontation
- stall, stall, system reboot
- customer still waiting but must avoid confrontation
- stall, stall, system reboot

1 hour later someone summoned the courage. Or they called over the auslander who just returned from lunch.

But to whom and how?????
No emails, customer service over phone is pathetic..and inside the shop the attendants say that this is a "Customer Service Issue".
But where the hell is the customer service????

Hahahaaa...this is a fact that the guy who handed me over the receit and the guy who had the courage to tell me that the good is not at the shop were different and by the accent the messenger was not native..:-)

Still waiting for any sort of communication back from Conforama...and still my online account shows ready for collection...really ridiculous!!!
Tried calling, emailing..all efforts invain.

I totally agree with you!

I was this saturday at Conforama or better call it Sheissorama and had to literally wait for 2 hours, that is 120 minutes to exchange a damaged article!

Customer service there including its manager kept on saying: "Du musst schnell warten" means you need to wait quickly and that after 2 hours waiting!!!

At the end it turned out that my item hasnt been ordered and this was just done after my complaint! Even refunding the article would take much longer according the Sche**dienst!

Absolutely no customer service and definitely my first and last visit to this cheap place!

It seems we are at their disposal...which does not seem ethical and right...

No I have not done this!!

I called them and they asked me to collect the same from Conforama Walliselen. I was again made to wait for an hour and then the attendant told that as the pickup is from Schlieren they can not help me. I fought for almost 15 minutes but they kept ignoring me...I felt like pun***** his face...but my good self prevented me from doing so....

My experience is that they tend to be far more helpful when someone is loudly explaining how bad the customer service is in store rather than over the phone.
Believe me I was loud but this did not help.
