That's interesting because normal coriander hates being disturbed. I'll have to get some Persicaria odorata as I have trouble growing the everyday variety although this year it's being doing well.
Dunno about being disturbed, but as normal coriander is an annual, rather than a perennial, it's really no good at all for growing in a herb garden, unless you seed and reseed new plants every week or so. And frankly life's too short for that, when we can get it easily enough from New Asia Market in Basel, complete with roots so you get to use all the more strongly-flavoured bits too.

I grow pretty much every other type of herb we use, mint(s), sage, thyme, oregano, marjoram, chives, rosemary, bay outside in the her plot and parsley and basil on the kitchen windowsill, but coriander just isn't worth the time, especially given the quantity we use

I know it's a bit #firstworldproblem - but clearly, I can't be the only one who hates it with a vengeance!?
I so understand you with this post. By the way also love rucola.

'This' is an amalgamation of several related threads, and it's never OTT to rave about coriander.

We have a rule about it, basically "You can never have too much coriander".

I see it as a challenge.

I also grow new plants from seed every few weeks and do that for basil too.
