No, only whiskey, single malt preferred.

I ate a yoghurt yesterday with use by date 24/Jan 2014 (human experimentation only in interests of EF) I must say, I've felt better and buzzier today than I have for the last 3 months
Sure you had your glasses on and it wasn't Red Bull?

....does Red Bull have such effects on people - eating 6 months old yoghurts and surviving?

I've never had Red Bull, but I do eat yogurt and cheeses that are months (or years) out of data.

I did a quick google on "exploding yogurt injuries" and I found one story - the story that you referred to in your previous post. It's a one off freak accident. A yogurt really isn't going notice it's past it's sell by date and simply decide to put itself into handgrenade mode.

As you seem to consider a statistcial freak incident becomes a statistical certainty if it's been mentioned on the internet, just do a quick google on "exploding battery injuries". I'm betting that if you're using a laptop, tablet, or phone to post here it'll be a quite while before your next post.

Judging from the second sentence I would not think he is being 100% serious....

Actually given the language and content I'm going to believe it's a duplicate account .

are you kidding me? no wonder you did not find anything by searching "exploding yogurt injuries" when there is only one guy in the world who ever survived such a combustion!

Try "exploding yogurt death" and then you will see the reality.

The battery incidends you have mentioned are well known, and I avoid using any batteries at all. I always take the battery out of the laptop and plug it in. My cellphone is always-when not in use-in a solid tupperware-like box to protect it from falling and myself from the explosion.

ps: you have a suitable user name!

Are you insane? Do you know what has happened to some of those power stations that provide power to your socket? Google Fukushima if you don't believe me. Same power source in use here you know.

And before you go saying you only use renewables, ask yourself what happens when one of those dams breaks.

The aftermath of a yoghurt pot explosion.

I understand that the allies considered dropping year-old yoghurt on various Japanese cities towards the end of WWII, but decided against it as being "too extreme".

One can understand why, really.

Don't worry - I've got plenty to do (but at least I get to do it in peace!)

Re: Coop sold me expired food

In the interest of scientific research (and because I had bug*er all else to do), yesterday I found and more importantly ate an Activia yogurt that was lurking in my wine fridge..... don't ask why, I've no idea.

Result; I'm still here, I didn't explode in any way shape or form.
Conclusion; if your yogurt hasn't turned green, taste odd or is quietly fizzing, it's probably safe.
