Can you exchange at COOP?

Today I bought a trully disgusting batch of frozen chicken breasts from COOP, something obviously went wrong with the freezing in the store... Can I go back to that store to exchange it for another bag hoping it was a one off? Is exchange common practice here? It is everywhere in the world, but I thought I check first.
Thanks,
elizabeth

Re: Can you exchange at COOP?

Yep, I took mouldy lettuce back bought from Coop in Zug. So long as you have the receipt they should take it.

They were pretty apologetic, not to mention shocked at the condition of it, and gave me an extra bag of lettuce for free which I didn't really need but took anyway.

Exchanging defective goods is always possible. Many shops would also take back non-defective items. But, they would not take back inner-wear, etc.

Re: Can you exchange at COOP?

Today I bought hungarian chicken breasts in my local Coop. They were not frozen. They should've been good for another 3 days. They were swimming in water and they had a light odor. I knew they were not as fresh as they should've been. I cooked one and it wasn't really good. Usually I buy swiss chicken breasts and I have to say it's not worth saving a few bucks for this kind of garbage.

If you like chicken breasts, I purchased some frozen ones from Migros and they were GREAT! very moist after cooking.
I don't know where the chickens came from, but they are tasty...

Consistantly the best source of meat in CH IMHO is Aldi, not somewhere I'd have shopped at before moving here but needs must..
