Sorry, but ignoring police commands is not just stupid, but illegal.

Nonsense.

The police had no search warrant, therefor no grounds to demand anything regarding OPs apartment. That demand alone may well constitute abuse of powers of office, otherwise refusing any demand by the police that is actually beyond their legal power could be considered obstruction of the police.
You're confused. Whether they had a search warrant or not is immaterial; refusing to open the door to them, even after they'd identified themselves and shown a badge, was deemed to be obstructing them, and the court has apparently agreed with that.

As I think I, among many others, mentioned way back in the early replies, the OP's behaviour at the time seems completely ridiculous and unjustifiable, and having compounded that with making and pursuing complaints, which is implied but not detailed the fine seems to be entirely justified.

The person who should pay the bills is the landlady's ex, who they were looking for in the first place. He has caused a lot of problems.
