Re: PSA For the Public Transport Users

Getting ready to head out to run an errand via bus and train with Lil Dude. STRICT instructions have been given that there are to be NO loud comments about smell while we are out.
I've put a TINY dab of lotion on a small tissue that he can pull out of his pocket should he be so disturbed. (He is very smell/scent sensitive) I've also told him once we are home he can share his complaints and observations as much as he'd like. Wish us luck..........

This is just fu.. with clients! They let the buses without air conditioning on the streets in this weather! Does anyone know where can we complain about this?? It is a hellish ride for my pregnant wife nowadays while the drivers enjoy their fans! :/ This happens frequently on 705 route EPFL - Lonay route but also metro is freaking hell on wheels these days :/ And you pay 5 CHF for a ride!
Right this morning I took one of the new TL buses and the air-con was set so low it was actually freezing in there. The heat blast when I got off was quite a shock!

I guess they have two options:

- increase the prices massively so they can upgrade their fleet to all aircon

- don't use the non-aircon buses, then all the others would be even fuller, negating any aircon advantage

Since you seem unhappy about both the price and the lack of aircon there doesn't seem to be a viable solution.
And don't you think the price is ALREADY very high?? 5.2 chf for an hour ride is a bit steep considering that you will normally pay twice to get back home. Unfortunately I learnt that in Switzerland it is usually minimum quality for a maximum possible price. Real Swiss quality does not start until you are a CEO but then nobody cares anymore...

I do not enjoy eau d'armpit. At all.
It's 3am, I'm being kept awake due to a headache and have been trying to find something funny on Netflix. Read your comment and exploded with laughter. Thank you.

My "soft and cuddly, PC, everyone is equal"-side acknowledges that for some people the odour they emit is hard/impossible to control due to suffering from a medical condition.
The ones that smell due to a medical condition are a small minority.

Your fare typically covers about half the cost. It's not steep at all.
