What's a good thing about the area where the garage is located ...

Yesterday, I discovered the most delicious Clubhouse Burger that I have ever had in my life made of 100% local beef

http://www.mcdonalds.de/produkte/pro...clubhouse_beef
Perhaps I should go and buy a bar of chocolate to indulge in, it has less calories than this

Sometimes bumping one's car is not such a bad thing after all ...

You find your delicious place to indulge in, which you wouldn't have otherwise

I can't see the trailer. Was it behind the parked car?

I almost rofl'ed when I saw my neighbour working at his favourite area "leave my stuff" with tools. He seems to be notorious and I took friendly picture to laugh

This time around, I didn't touch the car this morning. You "fool me once shame on you; fool me twice shame on me"

Yes that's a correct answer. This is a lawnmower

Growing into Argauischer culture, one must learn how to be nosy.
Another, neighbour-friendly picture of this morning.

I even went to great lengths to spell a neighbour in American way so that it can be understood by everyone.

This time infamous trailer is visible and my neighbour is taking it somewhere. You have no idea how happy I am

OMG! You took a picture of someone in Switzerland and I bet you didn't have his permission and that's a law you know and you will go to jail and you'll lose your permit and 40 other EF'rs will comment on how this is wrong and I just feel so horrible for this man and why are you breaking the rules?

It's a price to be paid to have some Friday evening thread going ... Should I use more pastels to remove human object from google map view then?

This bugger gets always kicked on the way out when I go jogging ... I will take it out with another vehicle or optionally leave it for my wife to decide. She soon should be getting her license from AG renown testing center ...

Puzzled by your claim to have spelt the word I've highlighted in bold 'the American way'.... you've spelt it correctly, americans mis-spell it as 'neighbor'.

I was referring to description on the photo! My fault I didn't use other colour than the black ink. Of course, I know both variants and other peculiarities of British vs American English which we use interchangeably depending on the geographical location. And finally it was intended to be a joke rather than offense. Capish Madame?

Re: Reversed into dangerously parked neighbour's trailer!

Just to bump this thread with some recommendations. The indent in bumper of my Bimmer got finally fixed today for 350+VAT and the quality of work is very impressive. I would highly recommend the garage as the gentleman who runs it (Otto) is very customer friendly guy, serves good advices and next week I should get my Mwst. back

KHS Lackiertechnik GmbH
Karosseriebau
Carl-Zeiss-Str. 6

To show some quality of their work, herewith please find some pics before and post repair.

In Lymington almost same repair costed me 120 last year. I wonder if any of you have a "formula" to calculate UK-CH price comparison, or I'm talking rubbish? I've made 3 random quotes comparison and the price is almost double in all 3 quotes for job from different nature.

I don't have a formula and not sure if there is one. Each garage has their own different prices that might be either fair or highly inflated. In my experience I can recall the following:

The cheapest place in CH was 750 S.Fr.
Standard price in CH can vary 1000-1500 S.Fr.
The most expensive place in DE was €1200.
The cheapest place in DE was €420.

All prices quoted above include VAT.
