hihi- well that would be ok too- kids will be kids, and as a mum and a granny- I know there is little choice there...

Only problem here with those damned disposable nappies is that they weigh a ton... and we pay for our refuse here by weight. But for a week-end, that will be fine. More and more parents here are turning to modern shaped washable nappies though - the cost of disposing is truly having an effect here.
Doing it again, I would consider the washable one. Mostly because we have our own washing machine. Oh gosh, I'm glad that period is over for both.

Already

Re: Used disposable diapers ..........?

yep- time flies. My youngest baby was 40 the other day - a bit of a shock!

BTW, in our town in the UK, there were at least 2 companies doing a 'deliver, pick up, wash and deliver' service for real (modern shaped) nappies. I really think it would be a great opportunity for a business here - with nappies taking so much space in pre-paid official bags, and even more here where I live where we pay by weight. Great for the environment too.

Re: Used disposable diapers ..........?

We used cloth diapers but switched to disposable ones for travelling. I assumed our hosts prefered our leaving stinky diapers in the trash to me washing soiled diapers in their machine

I try to be a considerate guest though. I strip the beds the day we leave, wipe down the sinks and take out our trash.
