Mods! Mods! I am being bullied! Help!

Ok, so you can read, you just can't be arsed to formulate some form of argument.

I stand corrected.
I can read, write and do a lot of things. I can also tolerate people who come here to vent their frustrations without judging them. After all, we are all human and it gets difficult sometimes.

I am resplendant in a slightly smoky DEXTRON II. Better than leaded fuel, or burnt diff oil, I guess.
Sorry, but Castor oil is where it's at!

Remember DaveA? Natasha (htfu!)? Canadian Dude? Polorise? Lob? ... and dozens more... it was rough, rude and never, ever boring.
I actually do not remember any of them. Maybe DaveA, not sure there either.

It might be entertaining for you to read bitchy replies here but believe me, when you are new and looking for help, the last thing you want to hear is the kind of replies you get here. A little bit of compassion goes a long way.

Nah. Migros and Coop are still open. Just killing time til the online check-in opens for the flights I've just booked for myself, but got called sad for having all my search screens open and adapting the search for a fellow member. C'est la Vie!
Actually I love digging out information for people from the internet. So I am a bit of a sad person myself.

Well, when the OP is clearly a re-incarnated banned troll posting a load of racist crap, what else do you expect?

But people come and people stay. And genuine seekers of help rarely get a rough ride. As far as this thread is concerned, I'm pretty sure the OP can give as good as he gets - and good on him!

But the spark has gone. Posting numbers are falling month on month. Most of the entertaining members have left or rarely post. There have been a couple of attempts to set up colonies to restore the old spirit, but the grinding, corporation-funded behemoth just rolls right over them, even as it disintegrates itself.

Sometimes I wish it was 2008 again, but I had a crap job in those days so seeing my favourite corner of the internet wither away and die maybe isn't so bad after all.

But I'm still sad.

I was going to suggest a "safe word" then thought; oops, wrong forum.

EDIT: Just remembered the Free Beer thread. A thread with such notoriety it got buried and locked never to be pried open again.

It was actually just a reference to the number of posts a person must have to acquire one of those statuses. Why would I have a personal problem with your status? After all, all you need to do to acquire those is post here some tripe a couple of thousand times.

Also I do not understand what you are talking about. Intellectual laziness? What does that even mean? Marketplace? Why should I go to marketplace? I am very well read, thank you. Even my spelling is better than yours.
Well, back when you wrote:

You think it is OK to approve of stereotyping if the target stereotypes other people and - in your opinion- deserves it?

We can spend the rest of the weekend playing word games. You might try all you can but really you and the rest of the EF bullies are not as clever of you think.
As far as I, (with my limited grasp of the English language) can tell, you were accusing me of approving stereotyping of some group or other based on whether I agree with said stereotypes.

You then grouped me in with some group of bullies, and implied either that I am delusional, or unintelligent, (or possibly both).

I called you on those claims. Whatever it is that you have done in response to that, it doesn't (to my mind) constitute an answer.

Good for you that you are well read and that your spelling is better. This apparently means that when you make some claim or allegation, you've no reason to actually back it up with anything of substance. This is remarkeably similar to the behaviour of a bully.

As to the intellectual laziness, I think I am clear on what I mean by it, you may have reached a higher level of rational discourse than I and subsequently have no need of critical thought. For my part, I'll just keep struggling on.

As this thread is currently de-railed anyway, when I joined about a year ago I got used to being "bullied" as a newbie. And turned it around to build-up my conflict readiness in a particularly difficult program (with difficult clients) that I was working on at that time.

OP - as to your repeated comments about members not having "anything better to do" - in my case as a single Mom working 100% on high profile programs, I really welcome the EF for company when working from home-office, or when returning from a 12 hour day in the office.

Your perception of the other members is also extremely off .

As far as I'm aware, it still lives, somewhere that I'm not allowed to reveal, along with several other "sensitive" threads.

I've heard that the Mod Zone is a veritable treasure trove of EF history.

Excellent!

As she didn't explicitly express a liking for ugly, pedantic, old, bearded, poor spelling, bullies it wouldn't have been a close running fit.

Probably a trap anyway.

Can you pronounce it as well?

A friend got a great photo of two rainbows over it a few weeks ago. Found that to be very appropriate to a town with that name.
But back on de-railed topic - yes, wouldn't like to be Welsh when into S&M
