| On Sunday night we went to a concert at Hallenstation. We had to pass through a security check to enter the stadium. They wouldn't let me enter the place with my rucksack, and had to put it in the external Garderobe. However once inside I saw other guys walking around inside, still with their rucksacks.
As well as that, the woman in front of us in the security queue had apples confiscated from her handbag! What's that all about then? I can understand food vendors perhaps wanting to have a monopoly onsite, but confiscating apples seems a little over-the-top... | |

Seems like good old inconsistency to me. You could argue that the rule is "no food or beverages" to be taken inside, which would explain why the apples were confiscated, which is fine, but the fact that they let some people in with rucksacks and others not is a bit off.
Not much you could of done, I guess. If you argue the toss with them they have the right to boot you out.
