l do belive that no one is perfect and each country have their bad and good ppl 2,so lm not saying here that all swiss ppl are racist cos l know some who are so freindly 2 and cos as l said u cant find one country who are their ppl are all perfect,,but what lm so sad to say it that to find adoctor who is racist he can be racist if he want but when he is away from his job that what l belive,,but to be adoctor and to refuse to treat others just cos they are from another country thats sooooooooooooooooooooo bad and sad ,,,

can any one belive that lm looking more than 5 month to get pediatric doctor for my child ,,and can any one belive that one of the female doctors refused to see my baby just cos she is not from switzerland although she born here,,lcant belive till now,,lm woundering if those doctors were in emergency situation and they got avery sick person who is from other countreis do they treat them or they will let them just die so easy????????

Are you sure they are being racist? What makes you say that? Do you have proof? If so, you can file a formal complaint.
Maybe they already have too many clients (most cases) and do not want more. Waiting lists for docs, and play groups are long, that is a the way it is.
Are you sure you have exhausted finding a good doctor? Search around, you don't buy the first car you see, you look and see who can offer you what you need.
I am sure you'll find most doctors are very professional since some are also foreign to this country.

Hiya Lina, i can tell that your very sad about this situation but are you sure that the doctor simply couldn't take any more patients because his practice is at full capacity? I know where i live that there are also Swiss people who wont be taken on for this reason. Have you been to your local gemeinde or to the "Mutterberatung" (support for mother and child) they will have a list of doctors for you to choose from. If you need any help please PM me, don't worry if it's hard for you to write English because your upset, i'm sure i'll be able to understand.

Oldhand is right, there is probably another, practical reason, do not take it personal! I really hope you find a good doctor for your child. Have you checked the threads where we list the Embassy list of doctors? Is Olten close enough to Zurich for example?

I've heard far more stories about people unwilling to see a doctor whose race was not their own. Even if true it cuts both ways.
