Easy Drivers 2007

To the person who did the English translation of the EasyDrivers 2007, you seriously need to get a kick in the ass.

Because of you, I've made so many mistakes.

Quote:
The bicycle hangs 20cm over the left side of the passenger car. That's the reason it's incorrectly loaded.
I didn't tick this one because a bicycle which is fixed on the back of a motor vehicle is allowed to extend to the maximum of 20cm on each side of the motor vehicle.

The right sentence should be,

The bicycle hangs over 20cm at the left side of the passenger car, That's the reason it's incorrectly loaded.

I don't care about the rest of the sentence but putting the over before the 20cm does make a difference.

Re: Easy Drivers 2007

If words are going to make a difference then they really ought to get them right!

Does this mean you didn't pass the test? I started driving lessons today and I'm still interested in the book and CD.

Do you still need the material?

They have to get it right because some of the sentences are senseless.

Anyway, my theory exam is tomorrow and hopefully I'll pass it.

Re: Easy Drivers 2007

Take it easy, you have enough time to answer the 50 questions - use it if you have insecurities (and be they semantic )!

You can make up to 14 errors, what I consider to be generous (but some unprepared or unlucky examinees blow it nonetheless).

Re: Easy Drivers 2007

Hi , I hope you can help me here...I am using the CTM Theorie test CD and after working quite hard on it for two weeks, it has proven quite worthless. The least error points I've obtained is 21, and it's been downhill from there despite my best efforts. Standardised tests were much easier. I have a test on June 21st, if anyone can recommend a better book/approach, that would be fantastic. How hard is the test and is Easy Drivers the best???
thanks...I really am getting very frustrated.

Hmm, Easy Drivers is alright but because it is being directly translated, the sentences, sometimes, don't make any sense.

Re: Easy Drivers 2007

Thanks, I'll give it a go. I've heard easydrivers is the only one with the original test questions. The CTM one sometimes has questions with 5 choices and up to three answers...which is not what the Strassenverkerhsamt stated on their website....fingers crossed. It's not obnoxiously hard is it??
