I always loved to go there to look around and try to find the next book I will be reading like I would eat a piece of chocolat!

I am very sad to learn that they will close their door at the end of this month...

They want to focus on their publication side and couldn't find someone to take over the store. Which is very sad because it was the best place in Basel to go for english books. They always welcome everyone with warm smiles and they made me feel like I was seeing an old friend when going into the store.

They will be missed.

Same here, I'll also miss it - have a habit in popping every now and then either for a book or just for browsing the shelves. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful.

I was there over the weekend, and they said there is a chance that another couple may reopen it in a different location. They are in negotiations! Cross your fingers!
