The local paper didn't check all garages- but those at 1.28 are in Boudry, Colombier and 1.29 in Boudeviliier and Gampelen, 1.32 in Fleurier and 1.33 in Dombresson, 1.35 in La Chaux-de-Fonds.

Re: Unleaded- how much?

winner is still in DE , at 1.20 Eur (1.19 chf ) in waldshut tiengen OMV next to zoll . Thats the lowest I have seen.

They also have 91 octane which I think is 1.10 but I did not go for it.

Re: Unleaded- how much?

But the tax & costs on fuel remains the same, the 8% MWSt (TVA) has gone down a tiny bit,

http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motoren...in_der_Schweiz

Mineral oil tax, about Fr 0.7312 per liter for Benzin
Climate CO2 tax, from Fr 0.013 to 0.019 per liter
Emergency fuel reserves, the cost to store fuel for 3 to 4.5 months.

So maybe 78 Rappen / centimes is fixed (to the type of fuel) & taken by the government.

German fuel tax, old cost of a liter was about € 1.431 plus taxes of € 0.8897 http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motoren...in_Deutschland

Can you get fuel MWST back from Germany?

1.27, over the border (10 minutes away) in Germany. Otherwise 1.37 (after 3 Rp. discount coupon, which every customer is given anyway, so why don't they just advertise the price as CHF 1.37 ...?).

So use normal 95 sans plomb, and not E10. It's not that hard to find, is it?
Where was that? Last week all i could see was 1.36 for 95

CHF 1.27 today in Mendrisio at the Shell opposite the station (though most of the Mendrisiotto is 1.32).

One may wonder...Why the HELL fuel prices remained THE SAME after removing rate peg from Swiss Franc?? It makes Swiss fuels one of the most expensive in Europe! :/

Re: Current Swiss Fuel Prices

Do some research, only Luxemburg and Poland are cheaper for petrol,
Switzerland has a high tax on Diesel because it is dirty!

Euro € prices: http://www.tcs.ch/fr/voyages-camping...p?currency=EUR

Are stations going to sell their old stock at the new prices? I really don't think so!

Fuel in Lausanne seems to be 5 cents higher than elsewhere, look around,

It is comparable to UK prices, possibly a bit cheaper. In real terms, compared to earnings, that makes it quite cheap overall

Still cheaper here than in Italy.

Anyway, prices can only come down once all the stocks bought when the EUR was higher have been sold and new stock bought at the new rate.

Yes...But they increase the price overnight if only price for a barrel increases few cents... And no, diesel is cheaper in Italy, Germany, France and Austria (even in Ireland it costs 1.19 per liter!). Unleaded is cheaper in France (Annemasse, Pontailler), Ireland (1.22 per liter) and comparable in Italy (Aosta, Domodossola). If what you say is true, we should soon see a 20% drop in fuel price all over the Switzerland.

1.4 CHF in Geneva. But the 1.2euro across the border is always tempting.

Hope you're right, I was in Mulhouse yesterday and really suprised at the price difference. Really cheaper in France as I paid only 1.13 for Gasoil...
