Of course the Swiss prices haven't (and won't) come down 20%. In fact, they've gone up around CHF 0.07 per litre (up nearly 20%) since crude oil prices went up a few days ago. Forget the idea that existing stocks must be sold before price changes can be applied.

gasoil has lower taxes than petrol in france, in switzerland it actually has 2 cents more, so that's not going to change and it's one of the biggest price component.

Still, if it is not going to drop, it means that somebody at some stage actually steals a lot :/

What is happening with the diesel price? It fell significantly below the unleaded price! Some new taxes on unleaded or taxes removed from the diesel (erm...taxes removed in CH, is that even possible??) ?
