Bored...

I like to find stuff in the street or second hand stuff to buy and refurbish. My next dream tool I want is a round saw table.
My soul sister! hahhaaaa ...... I`ve got to control myself, when I see old wrecked stuff lying around! And I can spend hours browsing flea markets and Brockihauses.

What to do with old Broken flower pots? - How to construct a miniature landscaped garden in an old broken flower pot, using the broken off pieces for terraces - except the photo is in my "documents" (not in "photos") and I don`t know how to copy it here

Try to save it in your photos? I want to see it!

I will take a picture of a seat I got second hand, I need opinion on what to do with it as I can't decide...

A pain gun? Oh dear, poor Nil. Do be careful - too much pain will destroy your pleasure! .... or will it?

NOT MINE. Just copied photos, for ideas for those with old broken pots.

I`ve made one, but the plants don`t look too good right now after freezing outside.

Hey, I need the help and opinions of you on this one.

I have this antique footstool and I need to refresh it with painting, tainting, changing the leather straps for a proper cushion, or else... I have no idea.

Any ideas on what I should do?

Are the straps brittle or ? Why change them?

Love that foot stool Nil - I would just redo it as is, just freshen it up.

That's what I was thinking. Sanding it, tainting with a clear coat and maybe change the color of the leather.

Its absolutely classic! Don`t change it Nil (my opinion)

What the others say - just "freshen" it up. The leather seat straps are classic too - what about just Dubben-ing them? Like they treat horse bridles. Such thick leather straps are hard to come by these days, or very expensive, as they`re limited to the part of the animal`s hide near the spine. You could make a nice cushion to go on them, but keep them for the base.

I wouldn`t varnish it. Just clean by scrubbing with soap and a hard brush. Then rub in wood oil.

It looks like something "medieval" - out of a castle.

So I listened to you and decide to just refresh it. I sand it and use some wood oil. I also tainted the leather straps.
