Caritas-Markt: for when the budget doesn't quite stretch

New in the Baden area, is a supermarket geared towards people who require a bit of social help. There are a few of these shops around Switzerland. Prerequisite is that you need to show a "Spezialausweis" - a special permit to prove that you are entitled, in order to be able to shop there.

They have all the regular products, but the company has developed a special relationship with generous producers and sponsors who wish to help those that could use a hand to get on their feet again.

Try a google search to find the one in your area, the one in Baden is on Bruggerstrasse. Here is a website.
ww.caritas-aargau.ch

Christmas is coming up. If you, on the other hand, need space for the new clothes or toys that are likely to enter your house, you could contact these guys who can then hand on things you no longer use, to those who might still have use for them.

If you find other links to these stores, or more info on these guys, or type of thing, feel free to add to this thread.

Re: Caritas-Markt: for when the budget doesn't quite stretch

Thanks for the information Ranga.

I will contact them regarding the gear and other stuff I've been sorting for charitable giving and good causes.

Here's the link to their Zurich operation for other interested parties.
