Zurich Christmas lights go on 6pm TONIGHT!

Slightly late notice I know, but for a few weeks now I've been waiting to see what all the little dangly lights over Bahnhofstrasse look like. Will find out at last!

And if you're not into lights, can always hit the shops as they're open late.

I think its the same day that the light goes on all over...

Adliswil looks beautiful....

And the Christmas market at Adliswil is tomorrow and day after....

I was on Bahnhofstrasse at 6pm yesterday and love the Christmas lights!

We were there at the Bahnofstrasse on Saturday. Took a walk from Paradeplatz down to Zurich HB. My word is that it was awesome. Additionaly the Christmas market and the tree by Swarovski is worth checking out.

I was there this evening around 6.30pm with the kids. I was really surprised at how many people were out on Bahnhofstrasse. There were no shops open that aren't usually open on Sundays, but the street was packed and loads of people taking photos.

Actually, I remember now that I saw about 20 Santas walking down form Burkliplatz, and also some (perhaps) trainee santas in brown clothing, and also two donkeys in Burkliplatz.

When we arrived at 4:45, there were still shops open. Fun family evening. I already put it on the calendar for 2012.
