Can anyone tell me of a website or other source where I can get total seasonal or annual snowfall information, preferably in comparison with "normal" (or at least previous years)? And preferably by region (e.g., canton)? So, what I'm looking for is something like how many meters of snow have fallen so far this year vs. normal for this time of year...

^^^^^^^Poke around slf.ch and you might find what you are looking for. I don't know if there is a running tab of how much has fallen (you may be able to pay for that data) but you can get current snowpack depths. Here is the current image of snowdepth as a percentage of the long-term mean:
