Any christmas part in Zurich ?

Hello Guys,

I know Christmas has to be celebrated with family and friends but what if my family are not in Zurich ?

Me and my wife don't want to spend the Christmas weekend sitting at home and watching movies....any suggestion or invite :-) will be appreciated.

Thanks !

Re: Any christmas part in Zurich ?

I would also be interested in an answer to this, especially if the bars are open as usual during the Christmas period.

Is that the best you can come up with?

How about going up into the mountains and staying somewhere romantic and enchanting?

hmmm....

FYI...all the hotels booked at all the so called romantic spots..best available options are more than 200 CHF double/per night....which is exp. for me.

and more over attending a Christmas part will be more exciting than going to alps !

What's wrong with staying at home and watch "Scrooged" with Bill Murray for the 157th time ?

Kashif, a romantic place doesn't have to be an expensive place. Romance is relative and just because some place is deemed romantic doesn't mean it necessarily will be. With that said then maybe just do something together like go walk together or go see some Christmas event, like carol singers, or if you're into religion go to one of the big churches.
