As someone who has recently arrived to Zurich and is trying to appreciate the change of season, I was hoping someone on the Forum could provide a bit of advice.

We are looking for a fake mini-Christmas tree (hopefully with lights installed). In the US, I would go to Target for this kind of thing. I did see one post on the Forum that suggested Globus might have something along these lines, but I think that we were also interested (given it's location) to the big shopping center near Enge. We had checked out a mall area south of Horgen (with a Mikasa and a Migro) and had no luck, so any tips greatly appreciated. Before getting on the train and making a long journey during a busy time of year, it would be very helpful to narrow the search a bit.

I have seen pre-lit trees of all sizes at the hardware stores. Obi is (very) similar to Home Depot, there is also Hornbach, Jumbo, and Coop Bau + Hobby.

Pretty sure I saw some in Obi a few days ago (Basel, but I guess they are all the same?) I'd also try in Landi - they often have stuff like that at cheap(er) prices.

Some pretty ones at Migros.

Saw one at Interdiscount, no lights, but they have cheap lights there too. It stood about 3 1/2 feet tall.

My wife bought one of those three weeks ago from Coop. Not sure if they are still on sale at the regular Coop, if not Coop Bau & Hobby is your best bet. Good luck!

I saw a smallish fake tree (no bigger than 1.5 feet) with lights, and you had too connect it to your laptop with a USB! It was for 15 chf at Mediamarket, Sihlcity
