Hello all!

I hope this does not sound a bit snooty, hoity-toity or spoilt brat to any here, but we are used to a maid to help out with the daily chores. I usually have a made twice a week to wash, iron, vacuum, dust etc.

Are there maids available in the region between Geneva all the way up to Montreux? What would I expect to pay per day and where will I find them?

Hi from a fellow South African.

As Aurora said, cleaning ladies are availible at about Chf 20-30 per hour - he easiest way to find someone is to chat to neighbours, collegues etc as it's easier to find someone who "lives" in the area as they won't commute as they do in SA.

If I can help further from an SA point of view, feel free to PM me. We've been here nearly 7 years so have a little experience with what we expect as South African and how it's done here.
