Apparently a digger bashed a power line on Rämistrasse at around 11 am this morning causing a blackout in Kreis 1, 6 and 8.

I was stuck in it, at Kunsthaus, but I was able to get a bus to Central where I could get a tram.
It was quite annoying that the tram I needed to get back to work was sitting just outside the station. But at least I could get somewhere.
Glad to know what it was. thanks. I was getting a bit peeved that there were no announcements because I'm a Dilbert and didn't connect that they needed electricity to do that. Doh.

I was on the tram when it happened, it was quite eerie! No traffic lights, no bells, no light in the stores...
