Certainly, logic is not for everyone..but I would assume, that you understand the concept of numbers and time.

At the point Abfab made his comments, the person has not been helped and thus, it seemed highly counterproductive.
If you're going to groan anyone, groan me. I started the flippancy. It IS Friday after all.

As requested

Maybe you could push for a "most groaned post" record or something

Problem solved. The Dragon is dead, the princess is save. Nothing to
see here. Please go on.

Thanks Golfprostew. Good work.

Re: Help for friend stuck in Erlenbach

I actually can't believe this story. There were so many question marks. But obviously it was someone in need.

How can you be stuck in Erlenbach? With no money at all? How about going to the embassy. Or police station?

I happen to think those questions are better put to private message exchanges between the OP and people who can (and will) honestly help.

It could be something as simple (but perhaps embarrassing) as falling asleep on a train and winding up too far from the proper stop, and not "no money" but "not enough money" to make it back to where one should be, due to ticket price differences or whatever. Even something as simple as that, knowing how rabid and / or temporarily idiotic folks can get around here (is she hot, wtf difference does that make?) and on the internet in general, the replies to even that simple (and understandable) explanation could prove too much and unfair to someone who finds themselves stranded in the cold somehow.

So, while you may be curious about these details, it honestly is none of our business, unless you are intending to actually help, and even then, it's only marginally your business anyhow.
