| Hi all, I have just moved to Lausanne.
I am wondering what fellow english speakers recommend I check out during my free time on weekends. I have heard the Darling bar can be a good place filled with internationals. Otherwise, I may try to spend a day or two walking around the city of Lausanne, find a good coffee shop, etc.
Any recomendations? Where should I start? Where should I end? Where am I likely to run in to fellow native english speakers?
Thanks! | |

If you want to know more of Lausanne, Ben, you could try one of the guided tours, starting at the Place Palud, with English-speaking guides.
There's nearly always a board there showing the times of the daily tours.
Might not be trendy enough for you, but it's a good way to explore the city.
I'll leave it to the younger EFers to tell you about the bars.
