| | | Fasnacht parades
I've just been to a great fasnacht parade. What a way to enjoy Swiss culture and get free drinks at the same time.
There's another good parade next Sunday at 2 in the afternoon in Küssnacht am Rigi. I'm really looking forward to seeing those wooden masks, being entertained by happy people playing songs poorly and being chatted up by saucy cleaning women.
So get your unintegrated behinds off the couch and join in on the fun.
***Before groaning me for the unintegrated behind bit, please note it was a joke. It's fasnacht humor. ***

If you're a lucky bystander, you might even be able to:
- get carried away by a mysterious hairy giant
- flirt with incredibly good looking women
- get free drinks
- get free cookies
- get cleaned
- get carried away by gorillas
- sit on a tractor
- get pulled into a wagon
- get frightened by some terrifying monsters
- learn some Swiss
- dance to some top tunes

Yes, but we are in Switzerland, and unfortunately not in Trinidad or Tobago, so we have to take what we get, even though it is hot stock in a blooming cup!!!
Though personally I would rather be carried off by a well muscled, almost naked man, than a hairy giant | | The following 2 users would like to thank Pather for this useful post: | |

We'll be going to the one in Baden, I love the atmophere of the occasion even though I haven't a clue what the heck is going on . I actually enjoy 'Guggemusic', does that make me strange?
