In a horrible twist of fate, I accidentally agreed to meet with an ex face to face for the first time he ended it . He's Swiss, so I'm thinking they don't really care about this day, so I'll survive it by being in complete denial. Any hearts or flowers nearby better watch out...
The moral of the story, check your calendar for the date before agreeing to meet anyone!

Considering that for last Mother's Day OH offered me a toaster, I'm pretty scared about Valentine's Day...

I think i'll just be avoiding this day all together and working as late as I possibly can.
For my 21st birthday a couple of weeks ago my boyfriend bought me a basket and a decoration for the flat... and they say romance is dead?!
so personally its best to avoid valentines day for me...no disappointments then! |

I refuse to participate in this commerical crap. Will be just another day for us.
Maybe I've been so turned off by how big Vday is back home: florists raise their prices by 200% and restaurants are over booked. Dont seem to see the same amount of enthusiasm over here, unless I've subconsciously blocked it out?

I'm going to a very sexy, romantic, erotic... band rehearsal.
I'm fairly certain any Valentine's Day-related things coming from my boyfriend will be "hello, happy Valentine's Day" and then nothing else - this is fine by me, as long as he doesn't forget our anniversary next month! |
