That sounds like a miserable person to me. And yes, in your post about going back to the US you stated your reason, but you are still going back to the US. And at this moment the US is in very, very, bad shape...Good Luck
So you say going back to the US in order to be closer to my mother (and have her come live with us) because her husband (my father) died and she's alone and getting older is a bad reason to go back? Is that really where you want to go with this?

you really come across as a happy dude to me, not sure who you're trying to convince.
why not simply let the OP enjoy the excitement of his upcoming move, not to mention what sounds like an upcoming marriage. God knows the "integration" into Switzerland will be the least of his worries if he's getting married.
You are absolutely correct....Thanks.
P.S. Don't be surprised if other posters join in, they become bullies and everyone starts on the attack. Actually it has begun already...it like a wolf pack and when one starts the others find an opportunity to strike. Its a very "mob mentality" to be honest...

I would gladly give away a kidney just to help out a Swiss person. Switzerland is such a warm and cuddly place and I give at least one Swiss person a big hug and kiss everyday.
Cheers,
Nick

No I am not leaving the states out of the grass is greener. I was planning on moving to Seattle eventually, but I am happy to be with my fiance, wherever she is. I am however even luckier that she is in a country, after several times visiting, that I personally enjoy.
Never intended for this thread to get into negativity. I can't help that a bit when I start talking about where I came from, but the real story for me is how much I enjoy Switzerland, now how much I don't fit in with the United States.
I am unsure as to why folks are attacking ProsperityJoy. I don't see him as attacking America, but more of just proud of his country, the people that represent it, and the culture/personality it requires to live in it. If yall disagree with each other, please keep it civil...Debate the points, but don't get into drama... No point in worrying about what people think, or other things you cannot change. Serves no purpose to get rowdy on a message board.
In other interesting news, I just found out that my fiance has been a member, and poster on this board for about 8 months lol. Small world.

Seattle ! you not far away from Switzerland I think there are more swiss people in this corner then in Switzerland .Vancouver ,Victoria ,Seatle
I would argue that that the North of England has 100x more culture than anywhere in Switzerland. For a start, name me at least one internationally famous rock band from Switzerland. And do Alan Bennett, Thora Hird or David Hockney come from Luzern?
And how many Spinning Jennies did the Swiss invent?
I rest my case.
Cheers,
Nick
