Cashback in Spar

I just noticed my local Spar is now offering the Cashback service when paying with EC card. I not sure if there is a charge for the service. I haven't seen this at any other supermarkets in Switzerland, though I believe if you bank with Migros, you can withdraw money from your account when shopping in one of their stores and paying by card.
