| It`s my second year in Switzerland. Love the place, but I have to ask- is this winter exceptional as far as "grey"? Live in the Zug-Luzern region and the number of overcast days is just mind blowing.
I can tolerate the cold. It`s day after grinding day of grey overcast that is getting to me and that`s saying something since I`m gone an awful lot on business.
It`s making me think of doing something drastic and moving to Valais! | |

Or do something even more drastic and go up some of the mountains to get above the cloud layer
But to answer your question, based purely on my personal observations - yes, the last month or so in particularly has been exceptional in the frequency and magnitude of snow, and hence overcast days, compared with a 'normal' winter, if such a thing could ever be said to exist.
