I admit I am taking the easy way out by just asking all the questions rather than searching for answers on existing threads.....

here is my list - any help truely appreciated

1. Are there travel agents (specific names) that I can call for travel tickets to India
2. Does anyone know of a Indian grocery store
3. Are there websites that i can use to get more information on local events and meeting other people
4. Are there gyms in Zurich - how much do they cost ?
5. How can I see an English movie in Zurich
6. Is there a place I can buy second hand stuff (like craigslist) locally ?

this will help me get started....Oh yes I have flatshare available if anyone is interested, I can see a lot of people have had trouble finding apartments

travel agents to india...i knw as i recently travelled to bombay....if interested please let me knw..

I suppose on that flat share you'll expect them to do all the cleaning, cooking and so on?

Online purchase of tickets is the best bet IMO. Fly direct to Mumbai, or via Doha by Quatar airways.

A type of shops called Brocki /Brockenhaus stocks used things.
