7AM is the normal start of noise time.

Tom
So no showering before 7am? Given that all our school kids are up and out of the village on the 7.13 bus, do I take it that none of them have a wash before they leave the house???

Serious question though - we are moving into temporary rented accommdation next month (having only been in a house before) and the noise free hours are up until 7am but I can't believe that means you can't have a shower before you go to work .. because nearly everyone seems to leave for work at 7am or very shortly afterwards ...

Re: Noise restrictions, How True????

7AM is when you can start making SERIOUS noise (hammering, jackhammering, hammerdrilling, etc.)!

Good to know.

I am looking forward to the day I am up pre 7 out of choice, and music will be on full blast from 7am.

Though, I am not often up pre 7am out of choice

Damn it, I revisted this thread to check on when one can start to make noise.

As I was awoken this morning at 7am to hammering and drilling!! Though it appears, 7am is a suitable time, which is BS!

Then on route out to walk the dog, I had to dodge bath tub and toilet in the hallway, and noticed half the drying room has been invaded with neighbours storage.

Same neighbours who complain about leaving your clothes drying for more than one day when still wet.

Can I complain? It's not in my nature normally, but these people complain about everything. Surely theres grounds here.
7am is normal start time.

You can certainly complain about the hallway - partially or fully obstructing the hallway is against fire regulations.
& also complain about the drying room that has been invaded with neighbours storage.
