Todays walk up the Poetta Raisse Dale/Gorge was just wonderful. Dappled shade, bird song, wildflowers everywhere, a few deer- then lots of water rushing through waterfalls - couldn't wish for better

We bought a very old Vicarage, just so we can create a typical 'curate's' garden as we call it in French, or a cottage garden in UK English. A riot of flowers à la English - not pristine lawn in sight, lol. love it.

Lovely morning on a way to werk..overcast,but warm,the mountains are spectacular.

The lake is hazy, still pretty, though.

It's going to get up to 27C in the Innerschweiz today. There's an amazingly strong warm wind drying everything out but also letting us know the weather is ready for a change again.

And this morning's sun is showing all the spots on the windows. So I cleaned one. Now I'm going to enjoy the sunshine (with lots of sunscreen).

Noooooooo don't talk about cleaning windows! A hobby falcon came and swooped right by our bedroom window yesterday to try and catch a sparrow feeding on our bird feeder - and in the excitement left the window covered with poo! So that will be the priority for this week - rest can wait a bit.

It's very warm up here, and starting to turn grey - I can feel a storm brewing up.

God. Does a fear of heights excuse one from having appallingly dirty windows? Can I spray sumfin on it and let the rain clean it? I am scared to lean out.

All our windows open inwards, so cleaning them is a lot easier than in the UK! But we have a ....lot of windows!

In the uk we had window cleaners i vote we make new jobs for window cleaners

Can we pick their clothes?
There are pro mountain climbers (fit) who will clean people's inaccessible windows back home.

Anyways. My windows open inward too, but I still have to lean up to clean the nasty bird poop on the shutters..Love the shutters, but cleaning it is annoying. I think they are actually supposed to be cleaned by the regie, something tells me, heh, since they organizing it once every few years.
