| | | Re: What do you think about such a behaviour? Is it ok? | Quote: | | | | | In that case I would have had a decent conversation with you and bought you a drink. If on the other hand I fond you irritating then I would have left asap as taking care of irritating stranger's feelings would not have been my highest priority.
So if I told you why I moved to CH then that would annoy you? Why? I would have been very interest in hearing your story and if that meant you mentioning someone who was BIG part of your life then that would not have bothered me in the slightest.
There are many desperate women out there who grab the wrong end of the stick (no not that stick) | | | | | Aah, irritation! You are bringing in a totally seperate set of rules now. Aaahhhm, you probably would have left. I buy my own drink - it's cheaper for me that way, rather than getting into the "now it's my turn to pay for a round" expenses. You may have found that itrritating.
The conversation re partner, reason for moving etc, sounds fine, very appropriate. BUT, so long as it was not given because of some egotistical guy thought of every single woman seeing every male as a potential partner.
My regards to Ms Panda. | | This user would like to thank biff for this useful post: | |

My regards to Ms Panda. | | | | | In that case I would have definitely stayed
It reminds me that one couple we went out dinner with ordered a very expensive wine for themselves. Normally we split the total bill with our friends so it was a shocker that our food costed less than their wine and that we had to fork out for a wine we did not even taste
So yes I am the pay for yourself kind of person at heart too |

My regards to Ms Panda. | | | | | Agreed, when I mention it in my history description, it is because, well it is part of the story.
Guys don't flirt with me anyway.

| | | Re: What do you think about such a behaviour? Is it ok? | Quote: | | | | | Was your BBQ boss Hugh Hefner? Why would any woman get jealous if you are going to meet your old male boss for BBQ?
Your ex could be a psycho but then you could have a history of being a cheating prick who was making her feel insecure. Normally I have noticed people feel insecure for a reason. Get on your carriage and get your ex to come on the forum so we can hear both sides of the story lol | | | | | Said boss is woman, isn't that obvious? But yes, still, why would/should one get jealous even still, i totally agree.
Nope, no history for that, just another of many insecure young women. I blame those things they read.

You have to make a woman feel secure by your words and actions. You obviously are not cut out for relationships so why even bother? Just sleep around with no strings attached, assuming you are capable of pulling.

I think you need to find out the context behind it. Clearly, it will be your natural instinct to be worried, but if you speak to them about it you may find there was a reason for the lie. It sounds a bit clichéd, but imagine how you would feel if you get angry and later find out they were planning a surprise for you, or counselling a cousin unbeknown to you on some family issues. You are right to be concerned, but try to find out more information first.
