Re: Why should anyone tolerate second-hand smoke in their apartment?

One thing is very clear with these threads on here, there are twats on both side of the smoking/non-smoking fence.

Ooh goody, another boring anti smoking thread!!

I missed this one first time around...!!
I'm waiting for the "Is adequate lung cancer treatment available on basic Insurance?" thread.

I expect it will be in the Jokes/funnies section of the forum.

It would help if the fence was much taller.

It would help if the fence was much taller, the smokers lined up againt and shot - in front of their families.

No need for that - better ventilation is all that's needed.

Re: Why should anyone tolerate second-hand smoke in their apartment?

I never smoked and never will. My parents did and my bro smokes so much that drives me crazy just because he spends so much money on the cigarettes.
I know at least 6 people that quit smoking, even after 30 yrs of smoking. I tell them ''well done!'' and ''how did manage?''.
When I wait for my bus or train or I am at the lake or park (to smell some fresh air, the trees, the flowers) , there is always one smoker, ruining my fun day at the lake. I say in my head (''I hope you go broke so you won't have money for cigarettes''), look at them in disgust and walk away.
What else can you do? As people said, smoking is not illegal, so non smokers have to just walk away.

I gave up 24 years ago, but I still love the smell of fresh tobacco smoke. Even now, it still seems exciting, sophisticated and a little bit daring. Of course, the natural scent of spring blossom is far more subtle and invigorating, but still...

Thank you, your post has inspired me to light up a Cohiba (as if I needed an excuse).

Of course, now I have to stay awake for two hours.

Just finished, so only 1:55

Tom

http://www.esmo.org/Conferences/ELCC...Press-Releases

And now time for the most ironic news of the year - the 2015 European Lung Cancer Conference was held in Geneva

Oh and look at all those wonderful press releases:

cancer, cancer, tumor, cancer, tumor, cancer

But where are the press releases on the benefits of second hand smoke???

Well, it surely smells nicer than perfume or incense!
