I'm not sure if you're familiar, but 1st of Aug is the national day, and there will be partying, celebrations, lots of drinking and lots of fireworks everywhere. Really no way to go wrong unless you stumble upon a fundamental SVP party :P

Large bonfires are very popular, and central to good times. Hope you have fun!
