Interesting thread. Some faint, distant memories are coming back.
In my apartment winter the heat goes way down at 10 pm. When I inquired the manager suggested that at 10 I should be in bed and that if I still felt chilly I should get a heavier duvet, a companion or both. Friendly lady, full of helpful advice. I opted for a heavier duvet.
More clearly, the comments about beavers remind me that I miss having Hooker's BeaverTails. Honest, it is a deepfried pastry with cinnamon sugar on it. Yes, check wikipedia.
