OK, so today I noticed "it". I'm not even 40 and "it" has appeared - what's more "it" is quite prominent, right in the corner of my left eyebrow. Can you actually believe it? What's more it is definitely white. Not blond. The Mrs was well chuffed to have the opportunity to comment on it (indeed, she spotted "it" first).

So the question is what should I do?

1) Pluck - get EFer out of there and hope it was a freak brought on by the long and damp summer

2) Cut -get the scissors and do the job.

3) Wax - no better way

4) Dye - reach for the Grecian 2000 - and just so that the mods realise this is indeed related to CH: what is this called in Switzerland and where can I buy is from? ()

5) Leave it - grow old gracefully

Leave it, definitely. It will get friends and you'll look quite sexy, I'm sure.

Leave it. There will be more. If it doesn't bother you, it probably won't bother anyone else. You can be "distinguished". My husband stated to turn gray in his late 30's. I like it.

If you start to dye it, you'll be at it all the time. Maybe it will look ok, or you will have a head full of shoe polish, or some weird sickly brown.

But I understand... I nearly wrecked my car at 35 when I noticed gray in my hair in the rear view mirror and proceeded to dye it regularly for the next 20 years. No more though.

Leave it! All the other options will eventually leave you paranoid or bald.

So I will never achieve this look. What I do have is a few hairs that grow randomly around my mouth/chin - patchily at best - over the course of a few days...

Get them all the time, am 26, but they're not ageing hairs think its the sun, even though I am dark haired and very dark browed.

Dad has same, if not worse, his brows go from black to blonde on a 2 week sunny hols and his head hair is only just starting to grey at 50!

And also grey is very in vogue at the moment.....................

Carlos, don't worry..I have this reappearing one black eye brow hair that keeps showing up, must be some kind of birthmark mutant, since all my eyebrows and lashes are blond. Weeeird.

Gray is good. It's hot to think of wisdom and people being sure of themselves, knowing stuffs, mature and happy with themselves, not trying to prove anything, not competing. I think gray hair symbolizes that. Or so I heard
