Nature's "Firework" Display

For all you folks in the east, I hope your August 1st outdoor celebrations are nearing conclusion, because Mother Nature has sent Santa's two German Reindeer heading your way.

Enjoy.

This storm is amazing, especially with all of the fireworks in the background!

Re: Nature's "Firework" Display

Storm started about 11 and the heavy rain started about an hour later (which was fine by me...makes sure that we are not listening to fireworks all night...)

Re: Nature's "Firework" Display

Kicked off here about 9:30ish, a few local private fireworks and some lightning in the distance, then all hell broke loose; torrential rain, lightning every few seconds, hailstorms, dogs sleeping with cats etc etc.
The local fireworks gave up at that. Storm was still going strong well past midnight.

Storm was a god send :-). Dogs don't mind storms so we were able to sleep by 1! 😏

Re: Nature's "Firework" Display

The storm lasted for 5 minutes last night in Geneva. We were on a BBQ and we ended up covering under a bridge. Thankfully we were just leaving when the storm hit so everything was already packed
