Zurich swap meet

Hi,

I have heard from several people that a good place to pick up a cheaper used bike is at the Zurich swap meet (pretty sure that is what it is called) that takes place monthly. Anyone know when the next one is and how much I could expect to pay for a decent used mountain bike? Thanks guys!

Look at velomarkt.ch in the meantime for second hand bikes mostly from private sellers. Veloboerse would be the thing to google to find the meets yo refer to.

Re: Zurich swap meet

Thanks for the links. It looks like two swap meets are coming up on 18 August and 1 September. I might just hit up one of those to try and look at and buy a bike in one step. If I can't find anything there, I will dig further into the site which looks like it has everything I would need (just think the swap meets may be easier for me). I assume the Swiss are not offended if you haggle at these things...
