First time going to Geneva!

Hello all,
I am very excited to be going to Geneva for the first time tommorrow! I am wondering what the most exciting things are that I "must see" while there?? I want to see the best Genev has to offer and hope for some suggestions! Food, museums, art, etc....? Thanks!!

Re: First time going to Geneva!

that's bad, you just missed the Geneva festival.....

some stuff to visit : the parks, cathedral, old town, some museums (depending what you like), the mountain salève (for the amazing view, but it's in France)

Or she is lucky since the Geneva Festival is overcrowded and doesn't add anything to Geneva.

Some things I love doing around Geneva: Going to Parc La Grange, you get to see gorgeous views over the lake and mountains, walking from Bain des Paquis to Jardin Botanique. Taking the bus-boats over the lake.

For museums I would definitely check out the Tavel House and the Art and History Museum. You can see all the museums here -> http://www.geneva.info/museums/
