Trendy menswear/suits Geneva

Does anyone know where, in/around Geneva, and when definitely not on a hedgefund manager budget, you can find a suit that fulfills the following criteria:

- "trendy", but not overwhelmingly so, for a (soon to be) 18 year-old, as it also needs to be suitable for university interviews. Beatles-style?
- suitable for a very tall (6ft 4 = 1,94m) and very slim boy.

Thank you!

I'd try PKZ (in the city, at balexert or at la praille)

There's a nice shop next to my place, I haven't got in but from the outside it does seem they have pretty things and prices in the windows are very good, especially for Swiss standards, it's in Rue de Berne 8, behind the main building of La Poste.

Relaunching my plea, as not overwhelmed with responses! I know you don't need a suit as much on the Continent, but surely some of you have had "kids" who had had to go to jobs or university interviews?

Does it really need to be so formal for a university interview? certainly not a university in CH I presume. How about nice pants paired with a nice shirt with tie, or more informal jacket.

If said university interview is in UK or US, probably best to purchase on site there anyhow as travelling there, much more selection at about half the price.

You are correct, it will be U.K. universities. It is part of an 18th birthday present aswell, that is why we wanted to buy here before november. We don't seem to be spoiled for choice here in Geneva!

So, trendy, but for interviews. And not too expensive. A bit difficult to judge exactly what you want. Anyhow, ZappaJr who just turned 21 and is a real dandy, just bought his interview suit at Olly Gan at Grand Epagny, the vast shopping mall next to Annecy. Cost him about 300€. For a wider choice, go to Galéries Lafayette, which is mainly much more expensive. They have 15-20 brands. I thought the Thierry Mugler suits there looking really sharp. Check them out on the internet.

In that case, I would avoid trendy. Having a nice conservative suit, which one could trendy up with different shirts and ties is the way to go IMO. However, if you're looking for well priced, trendy suits, there is this chain in France called "Celio Club" (not sure where the closest store is but here is a link http://brand.celio.com/en/stores/store-locator/) which I can recommend for young people who would like to dress in a fashionale suit.

You might want to try:

Elite Man SA
Rue du Marché 3
1200 Genève

You have to go into one of the 'galleries' (don't know if that's the right word) off the main street where the tram runs, somewhere around Globus, and then climb up a staircase.

They've got decent suits for good prices, including designer.
