It reminds of the joke about the evil gang member who has a near death experience. St Peter shows his a glimpse of heaven and hell. Hell looks great: 24hour party scene etc. Heaven looks virtuous and boring.

He recovers decides hell isn't going to be so bad after all, and continues his evil existence on earth. Pretty quickly he ends up being killed in a gang turf war. Lo and behold he arrives in hell, and it is really hell. Vile torture and restless souls.

As he's dragged off to eternal damnation he shouts to St Peter. Hey bro this aint what I bargained for! St Peter says, hey mate that was just the visitors parlour, you didnt seriously expect it really to be like that did you?
