What is the coffee like in IKEA Switzerland?

In UK IKEA have good deals on their food, but the coffee is a bit like that the cona coffee they give in USA with free top ups, not that I complain, as the price is very reasonable & one cup is enough.

The coffee is very good, it's on my way to work, so I will be going quite often.

You get worse coffee in Zurich for 5 CHF, it's the coffee from the restaurant, not the hot dog stand.

Costs 10chufs in petrol to drive there (and back), but well worth it, for the breakfast.

And Paddys does 2 for 1 on Mondays which really makes it very reasonable to eat out!

I pass it on the way to work, which is less than 1km away!

The only place where I've had worse coffee was from the Segafredo Tuk-Tuk at Zurich HB.

It's freshly ground coffee, and not bad at all as I remember.

Well, until a few years ago for an extra 20 cts. you could have it corrected (grappa or brandy), and you could add as much as you like (they had a liter bottle of each at the cashier).

Now THAT was worth it!

I like their coffee. They have the machine that offers several options and if you have an Ikea family card, the coffee is free. Nice.

LOL--you made my evening The best restaurant deal in Switzerland is in the coffee shop of a Swedish discounter.

Kidding aside, we frequently hit the IKEA restaurant on Saturdays when we're out shopping. The Swiss have never got the idea of quick, inexpensive food for people on the go. IKEA definitely has the idea down very well.
