Fantastic service

Two months ago one of my children’s PSP’s (play station portable) started malfunctioning (in all honesty probably because it had been dropped) typically I couldn’t find the receipt or guarantee but nonetheless took it back to Migros to try my luck, they were so good about it, punched in the serial number into the till/computer and verified that it was bought there last December for CHF400. They popped it into a bag got me to sign for it and said I should hear from them in 2/3 weeks. Sure enough they got back in touch within the time and told me to pass by and they would replace it with a brand new one.

Then three weeks ago my Tissot touch watch (which I bought in Cyprus) stared malfunctioning, as usual I had binned the receipt and paperwork , however I had a visa statement from 18months ago with the name of a shop In Nicosia . I took this to a local Tissot agent at Manor in Fribourg, they agreed to give it a try, popped it into a bag got me to sign for it and said they would be in touch in 2/3 weeks, Yesterday they phoned to tell me to pass by. I went yesterday afternoon and they replaced it with a brand new Tissot touch.

I just want to say what brilliant after sales service I’ve received within these last couple of months, in both places the staff were really helpful and efficient, it’s times like this when you don’t mind paying a little bit more for things if it means getting such good service.

Re: Fantastic service

I had a similar case when the lights in the cover of my aquarium stopped working. It looked like a faulty starter motor, but in a master-class of product design, the cover was moulded plastic and you couldn't get in and change it.

I took it back, but had no proof that i'd bought it there. They only recognised me as a semi-regular face in the shop.

After a little umming and ahhing, they gave me a brand new cover, completely free of charge. I was very pleasantly suprised.
