Awesome sunsets are one of the many perks of living in Lausanne. I took this photograph just one hour ago from the park across the street.



Anywho. Just thought I'd make everyone who doesn't live next to Lake Geneva envious.

How about this daytime one of the same lake but at Montreux, taken on 25th October - the warmest autumn day I can remember in a long while.

I have added a couple of pictures to the Landscapes Gallery of sunsets across Lake Geneva when I was there in September. The sunsets there are among the best that I have seen. I do get to see good sunsets from my home in Hastings, overlooking the English Channel. What they lack is the reflections.

When I stayed in Lausanne the sunset was sadly not so glorious but I did dig the light changes on the lake, despite (or thanks to?) it being cloudy. Must be really stunning, more so than Zurich, although a Zurich native like myself hates to admit such a thing...
