Re: Shopping Outlet Centres

Fashion Fish is not bad, not a ton of variety but decent business clothes and shoes, Trophy Sport has some good camping and outdoor gear like Mammut and Columbia. Also down the street is a Bally Shoe outlet with some pretty good deals and good selection in larger sizes (I am a 47 and have a hard time finding in my size in Switzerland)

I couldnt disagree more about Fashion Fish.

I was so disappointed after my visit there. there are only 2 shops in Schönenwerd I would go to - the Navyboot outlet and the Bally Outlet down the road.

Other than those 2 shops, the place was a waste of time for me, and very small. Unless you live close by, I wouldnt recommend going out of your way for this one.

Re: Shopping Outlet Centres

went to this place at the weekend http://www.outletcity-metzingen.com/

a long drive but we fancied a bit of a drive out - anyway an impressive selection of designer outlet and the Hugo Boss outlet is huge, great if you are wanting new suits etc... as another poster has stated.

We bought a mens overcoat from the boss shop and thought at 300CHF was good value for a Hugo Boss coat - what was nice about this place is that its in the middle of the town centre and not in a soulless out of town area

Re: Shopping Outlet Centres

the fashion fish outlet place in schonenwerd is possibly the most desolate and depressing place on earth, the strangeness is dripping out of it. kinda reminds me of the outlet mall in ogdenville in the simpsons.

BTW, for the EF members living in Fribourg, there is a good outlet (Vögele Mode) at St Pierre bus station, where you can buy blouses/skirts/pants/etc for 5 CHF !

Re: Shopping Outlet Centres

For all bargain hunters out there : In Metzingen, in the south of Germany close to Stuttgart, ca. 200km from Zürich, there is a large
Outlet Shopping Centre with the usual set of big clothing brands.
A few of my colleagues bought their Hugo Boss suits there.

Re: Shopping Outlet Centres

Helloo,
Just found this forum and I am really happy.
I was looking for an outlet in switzerland and this is how I found you.
I think that the swiss people do not understand what an outlet means.
There is one since Dec last year in Stucki Shopping Centre callled Ward & Robe.
They sell CK, Boss, DKNY and a lot of other american brands.
It is not so big but it is really cheap and if you have patience one can really find something.

I really want to go at the Esprit outlet, could you please tell me if it is worth or not?

Thank you. Cheers
