In my experience the Swiss women don`t usually have their pants on and that is half of their attraction. The other half is that they can chop wood fetch water bear children carry the old man back from the pub and still have time to bake a cake and knit the mother-in law a pair of mittens. God bless them all.
good their ain't no book lernin' for em on that list. These furiners bringing all their fancy idears and fillin der heads with nunsense.
Naked in the kitch'n or out in the birthin' shed, I say.

I'm not Swiss, let me confess right now, but I don't wear skirts often, and neither does my husband.
Luckily, we wear trousers in different sizes. Imagine the anarchy in our home otherwise .

This weekend the weather will turn cold so you will need to wear something!

Re: Dating Swiss Men?

[just for the record I lived with a German girl for 5 years, a Dutchie for 5 years, and a NZ lady for 8 years}

One of my neighbours in Murten was the town lawyer, and gosh he was bossed about when he came home.
In the summer, with open windows, on the street we could all here him being castigated for not taking the rubbish out, etc. usw.

I am truly sorry for dragging this thread off the topic, which began as dating Swiss men, presumably from the eastern cantons.

Is she Italian?

Mine usually bitches that I'm always in the kitchen instead of doing something manly like plopping myself on the sofa with a beer and watching TV!

Oh, and our windows are open year round, not just in summer!

Yeah. We'd never be so stupid to draw conclusions on women from a country after only one sample...

Re: Dating Swiss Men?

Sorry, people, but here's the truth:

In 50% of the successful Swiss marriages that I know, it's the wives who have the say.
In the other 50%, it's the husband's who have the final say.

I don't know of many successful marriages where there isn't a hierarchy. Those couples who struggle to maintain a marriage with equal say usually end in divorce.

Re: Dating Swiss Men?

Through most of spring and Summer this year I was back on the dating scene, and met quite a few Swiss German girls through a popular phone app (yeah..you know the one).

What I noticed was that those in my target age group (mid 30's) were giving either mixed signals or no signals of their interest. They also seemed to be non-specific on what they were looking for. This leads me to the conclusion they were applying a "silent auction" approach: dating a few guys consecutively and avoiding progress in any until the "highest bidder" arrived. Once I identified the pattern it saved me a lot of wasted time and effort.

In North America with a certain 'app', the key was to finally decode and understand what 'Netflix and Chill' meant.

I'm a British girl in her late 20's and I wanted some advice on Swiss Men! I have just started dating a lovely Swiss man but I have never dated someone foreign before.

We obviously live in different country's and have different cultures but I wanted to firstly know.. is there anything I should know about dating a Swiss man and what are your experiences?

Can you tar all Swiss men with the same brush!? My boyfriend is Swiss and I am a British female (early 20s) and he is LOVELY!!

I thought the app has never been intended for dating, but for something else, you missed the other signals
